As an old boyfriend once said, I am like a magpie, I appreciate, adore, and want everything that sparkles. Whether it be a jewel (*cough* DIAMOND) or a slick of glitter eyeliner, it catches my eye and I want to cover myself in it. I can't get enough of it, it's like an addiction, and I wish I could just be a big huge pear shaped pink diamond. Sadly, I cannot so I will have to settle for something less, but the thing that I have found certainly works for me.

After painting my nails a light shade of pink for the fourth time that month, I switched on This Morning to see Holly Willoughby's toes pimped out with something shiny. When the camera was far away, it seemed like she just had a glitter topcoat - I therefore reached for mine (careful of the wet nails...) When she got a close up of her toes, you saw that what was on her feet was not a glitter topcoat, it wasn't nail varnish and it wasn't a transfer; it was Swarovski crystals.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head and I was mesmerized. Tiny Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED crystal elements were glued onto each toenail and it looked stunning. Apparently it lasts for up to three weeks and is perfect for that beachy holiday.

All I know is that I need to book my appointment now. Even though I've already been on holiday...
