Is this the finest selection of food in India?

It's common knowledge amongst the world's movers and shakers that the restaurants at ITC Maurya, New Delhi serve food to die for. It is truly home to world class cuisine.

Where can you find the same diversity and quality of food and service under one roof as in this iconic hotel?

Patronised by heads of state and the political elite from The Queen of the Netherlands, the Crown Princes of Qatar and Bahrain and The King of Saudia Arabia, Russian President, Vladimir Putin, Former U.S. Presidents, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and George Bush and current U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the ITC Maurya has built a formidable reputation.

The “Pavilion”, serves a variety of cuisines to suit every palate. Their daily buffet offers a variety of Tapas, Mezze and Anti pasti, as well as soups, bakes, Asian stir fry’s and roasts at the carving station. Choose from a variety of dim sums, sushi, Western and East European food as well as Indian specialities and finish off with a mind boggling variety of delicious desserts. Or choose from an a-la-carte menu which also offers low calorie options. Do justice to their lavish breakfast and you can be assured of no hunger pangs till dinner.

“Bukhara”, is the ITC Maurya’s best known specialty restaurant and perhaps the best in the country. Offering the best in Tandoori North West Frontier cuisine, the meat is not accompanied by sauces and gravies, but is pre-marinated and cooked before serving. They are famous for their “dal bukhara” (simmered for 18 hours before it is served), their “sikandri raan” and a vast array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian kababs.

“My Humble House’, the 26th restaurant is another award winning restaurant at the ITC Maurya where the chefs take inspiration from the orient and offer global touches thereby changing the concept of Chinese cuisine. The Prawns in Wasabi Mayonnaise, lamb with enoki mushrooms and asparagus, monkey head mushrooms in egg crepes are just some of the amazingly delicious and artistic creations served at the restaurant. Of course if you prefer traditional fare, do try their duck noodles and steamed cod with greens.

“DumPukht’ is named after the cuisine it serves. A heritage and a recreation of the 200 year old cuisine of the Nawabs of Awadh, a princely state in India. The food is cooked in its own juices by steam, thus retaining its own flavour. The cuisine dates back to the 18th century and one must try the Biryani, Kakori Kabab and Murg Khusk Purdah.

“West View – The Grill” is a grill restaurant with a rustic ambience. One can choose from an array of salads, breads and tempting starters whilst waiting for the chef to cook a meal of your choice. Choose from a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian options and have the chefs cook it the way you want, in sauces of your choice.

The hotel also has two bars. “The Golf Bar” near the lobby has a casual atmosphere where one can get together for a drink. For those wanting to visit a traditional Irish pub, “Dublin’ has a fun ambience, though strangely sans pub like music and serves hearty and filling dishes such as Rosemary Pork Chops, Fish and Chips and a cheesy Vegetarian Lasagne.
